San Miguel Foods started the festive season on October 29, 2024, with the Home Foodie Madalicious Christmas event at its Culinary Center in Pasig City. Over 40 influencers joined the celebration, enjoying an afternoon of delicious recipes and festive cheer.
Attendees participated in games testing their San Miguel Foods product knowledge. They completed a Home Foodie Passport for a chance to win prizes like a smart digital oven and Masflex cookware.
The event highlighted the launch of the Home Foodie Madalicious Celebrations e-cookbook, featuring 17 easy recipes for appetizers, mains, and desserts using San Miguel Foods products, offering a taste of the holiday season ahead.
Participants engaged in exciting games that tested their San Miguel Foods product knowledge and a Home Foodie Passport activity. Attendees who have completed the passports earned chances to win premium prizes in the raffle, such as a smart digital oven, slow cooker, deep fryer, griddle pan, and Masflex cookware.
The event’s highlight was the launch of the new Home Foodie Madalicious Celebrations e-cookbook, featuring 17 easy-to-make recipes for appetizers, mains, and desserts using San Miguel Foods products. Guests enjoyed dishes from the e-cookbook, offering a sneak peek of delicious possibilities for the holiday season.
The Madalicious Christmas event also hosted the awarding ceremony of the ten influencers who participated in a cooking challenge earlier in October sponsored by Reyna Gas and Masflex.
The winners were:
Grand Prize: Roanne Tadina with Lime Oriental Wings (Magnolia Chicken Timplados Oriental Wings), winning a 20-L microwave oven.
1st Place: Charisse Espinosa with Beef Tapa Shepherd’s Pie (Purefoods Beef Tapa), awarded a 6-liter digital air fryer.
2nd Place: Karina Ramos with Ginataang Manok Inasal (Magnolia Chicken Timplados Inasal), winning an electric hotpot barbecue griller.
Non-winning participants also took home Masflex dinnerware sets.
Renowned restaurateur Happy Ongpauco-Tiu led a cooking demonstration, sharing tips to elevate holiday staples like Purefoods Fiesta Ham. She also prepared a delightful Pandesal Ensaymada with Christmas Ham, blending sweet and savory flavors perfect for the season.
San Miguel Foods executives Llena Tan Arcenas and Leah Golez led the celebration, along with celebrity chef Gene Gonzalez and Masflex representatives.
